Changelog
Sign-in emails now come from bookings@extrawelcome.co.uk
25 August 2026
The magic-link email you use to sign in now arrives from bookings@extrawelcome.co.uk instead of a generic system address, and the sending limit is far higher - so a link is there when you (or a colleague) need one, and it looks like it belongs to ExtraWelcome.
Set each extra's price as you pick it
23 August 2026
The setup wizard's extras picker now shows a price field the moment you select an extra, prefilled with our suggested price - so you set your own numbers as you go instead of hunting for them afterwards. Added extras show their actual price with an edit link.
Small fixes from the first real bookings
23 August 2026
A batch of guest-store improvements found by walking the real guest journey: the arrival-date field now flashes and scrolls into view if a guest tries to check out without it; the confirmation page reassures guests while it waits for payment confirmation instead of sitting silent; and we tidied up how per-day style labels display so prices always read exactly as charged.
Your terms, guest terms and privacy policy
29 July 2026
ExtraWelcome now publishes its Website Terms of Use and Host Agreement, Guest Terms, and Privacy Policy, with the company's statutory details in the site footer. Hosts see a one-time prompt in the dashboard to accept the Host Agreement; guests see the guest terms linked at checkout. If a document changes in future you'll be asked to accept the new version - never a silent edit.
A few helpful emails while you set up
22 July 2026
New hosts now get a short welcome note after signing up, a nudge if a store still has no extras after a few days, a reminder if it's built but not yet published after a week, and a congratulations when the first order lands. They're setup helpers, not marketing - and they respect the same notifications toggle as everything else, so you can switch them off any time in your dashboard under Notifications.
Guests can now pay with Apple Pay
14 July 2026
Guests checking out on an iPhone can pay with Apple Pay - no typing card numbers on a small screen.
